Lecture Theatre, Little Titchfield Street
Client: University of Westminster
We were tasked with remodeling the entire campus at Little Titchfield Street for the University of Westminster, which was implemented over two phases.
The brief for phase two was to provide a 400-seat lecture theatre within an existing double-storey height, galleried communal space, adjacent to the main entrance of the campus. This work also involved the remodeling of the entrance itself and the provision of a new café.
Within the limited space of the entrance area we created a modern, eye-catching reception desk with a digital wall; a far cry from the original.
From the entrance, routes lead around the lecture theatre at high level, giving informal and dramatic views into the lecture theatre itself. The café is also elevated and shares the dramatic views into the lecture theatre.
